A Touch of Color Make Up - New Haven Makeup Artist

My name is Sharyn Scully, a make- up artist and educator of cosmotology for 19 years. I have worked for many companies including Christian Dior, Estee Lauder, Sebastian International, Aveda and Gosh cosmetics and hold 14 different certifications. I am available for any event in Connecticut (other states are considered upon request) to do make up as well as provide many other services that are listed below and on the make up design page. I take all features, occasion, coloring , comfort level and theme into consideration while doing a make up design application. I am also very compassionate about helping people who may be going through difficult times and may need some assistance with skincare and make up. I am certified in the Look Good Feel Better program working with patients undergoing Chemotherapy treatment. Women and Men are amazed at their potential by just enhancing what they have and learning proper application and color selection. I look forward to sharing your special event with you .

In addition I teach other artists and industry professionals from just starting or advanced how to do makeup in an academy course. I offer a variety of courses on makeup, skin care, and color analysis. I can build a curriculum customized to your needs, interests and schedule.

Make-up Design Services

Traditional make up~ Make up will be applied by hand using a layering technique that does not look like you are wearing make up. This can be for any occasion for a day, night or fantasy look.

Airbrush Make up~
This make up is applied with an airbrush misting the face with flawless make up. This make up application is great for high definition photography or TV.... Its longevity is approx 16 hours and is great for wedding during the hot months to keep the bride looking flawless

Temporary Tattoos~
FUN!!! These great tattoos can be either transferred or airbrushed on. Transfers last 3 to 4 days, Airbrush last 4 to 7 and look soooo real. This is a great way to test out a tattoo to see if you really like it before going permanent. Crystal tattoos are an elegant way to wear a tattoo. This looks like a piece of jewelry. Also lasts 4 to 7 days with proper care.

Body Make up~
This is fantastic for those who have skin imperfections and are looking to achieve a flawless look for photography, special events or TV. Airbrush make up is applied to either half the body or the entire body excluding the face. This will need to be done is 2 sessions. 1 for a color match and the second for the actual airbrush application. This is great for covering tattoos, spider veins, vitiligo, birthmarks, scars, burn or stretch marks or any other skin imperfection. This application lasts approx 2 weeks with proper care. This is sweat proof and water proof.

Airbrush Tanning~
A light veil of sugar based tanning solution is misted on the entire body for a look that you just got back from your favorite vacation spot. The results are immediate and last approx 4 to 6 days after application with proper care. This is a great alternative to laying out in the sun and exposing yourself to harmful rays. I will go over a list of complete instructions of what to wear and how to prepare the skin prior to seeing me.
