Jodie Farce - Drag Queen swindon

As a DJ I primarily play dance music, dance music to me can obviously be anything, anything current off Pete Tong or Judge Jules for example anything in the charts from The Chart Show or anything I like from the past. Think Annie Mac of Radio 1 and you might not be far off. I usually manage to fit in a couple of rock / indie tunes which get people up who have not found their way to the dancefloor most of the night.

As part of the Drag act there is an awful lot of girly cheezy pop, 70's 80's Disco and Electronica, as well as some lovers rock aka well known reggae tunes too.

As a musician I have played a lot of different styles of music, specifically playing in Rock, bands, off the cuff Jazz Ensembles, and various duos as well as an african dance band. To date I have never been inspired to play country as the closest thing I get to country is Guns N Roses and other Southern Rock. Shania Twain and Dolly Parton have their moments but mainly this is part of the Drag Act.

Amazingly I am also not into Opera, or wait for this....... Broadway Musicals, although I do appreciate the brilliance of Cole Porter, and the work of Frank Sinatra, as well as some others from the Rat Pack Era.

I have lots of friends, an excellent family, and am doing with your help the work I like.

At your birthday, anniversary, wedding, civil celebration, stag or hen night I will play what works on the night, obviously we can talk beforehand about songs which are special to you and fit them in at appropriate moments of your celebrations.

Jodie Farce first came into view at the Wootton Bassett Street Festival as a direct result of her partner being made to look like a Leprechaun.

The innate Jodie has evolved into a good time girl, no change on Jodi Marsh there I hear you say, except that I do not drink until the end of the night, well other than a continuous supply of iced water,ideally with a slice of lemon, I am hot stuff after all.

As a singing karaoke hostess and dj hostess with the mostess many might say I am unrivalled, and btw, I don't go in for quite such a slutty look as Jodi Marsh.

I never fail to get the audience to respond, having got them to turn up of course, and I will sometimes even play requests. For a dumb blonde, that's what they say anyway, I am quite competent. My sound crew and warm up man makes sure that everything is working before I go on stage.

My act comes complete with Lights, Professional Sound System, PA, Smoke Machine and I will soon be adding a foam machine for everyone to join me in a foam bath, think of it as a cheap way of cleaning your pubs carpets (lol)

I am willing to travel anywhere reasonable, although I am based in Wiltshire so if I don't have to pay huge bills to get to you I won't charge for that.

I do charge you for the pleasure of having me of course, it's a tough world and a girl has to make a living and this is my business.
