Our Doves live in a spacious loft within the Austin city limits. They have plenty of fresh air, sunshine, nutritious food and clean water. They are exercised daily, vaccinated against disease, and are banded with the breeders identification tag. The birds are strong and healthy and are capable of flying hundreds of miles in proper conditions.

As a member of the Rock Dove Family, commonly known as white homing pigeons, it is instinctive for the birds to fly "home," back to safety and security of their loft. The doves will circle in the sky as they orient themselves to their surroundings, and then together they will begin their synchronized journey to their home base.

Since doves mate for life, a pair of doves traditionally symbolize commitment and fidelity. For weddings, the release of a pair of white doves signifies the beginning of the journey of the couple's life together and is commonly followed by a flock release, signifying the support and well wishes of family and friends.

A pair of doves can also be displayed during the ceremony at the altar, near the guest book, or at another central location, and can be followed by a release at the conclusion of the ceremony. For portrait sessions, our doves are easily handled (and very photogenic!). We will work with you to insure that you and our doves are safe and comfortable in front of the camera. For proposals, the possibilities are endless!

We are especially sensitive to those who are suffering a loss, and the release of white doves is a beautiful and meaningful way to honor the life of a loved one. It offers a spiritual and emotional release for those that are experiencing the loss, and provides a powerful healing effect and sense of closure. The Trinity Release involves the release of four doves. The first release involves the release of a single dove, by a beloved family member or friend, and represents the spirit of the departed. It is followed by the release of three doves, representing the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. As the doves circle in the sky, the spirit dove will join the Holy Trinity, and together they will fly Home.
